The time change has come and gone. The birds are out singing in the early morning hours. There are plenty of wasps and bees buzzing around to make you watch your surroundings at all times. There is literally pollen everywhere outside. Spring has arrived.
So what does that mean for us? How does this impact our lives?
Well, it’s a good time to do some spring cleaning. Yeah, we’re not talking about cleaning baseboards and de-cluttering the garage. We’re talking about taking an inventory of the bad thoughts that need to be swept away. We’re talking about the destructive cobwebs of habits we have fallen back into now that our New Year’s Resolutions have fallen out of our focus.
We need a fresh start. We need to refocus on who we are and our purpose in this life.
Do we need to try to get up earlier to pray in the mornings? Do we need to start taking walks outside to clear our heads after a long day? Do we need to make it a point to spend more time with our loved ones today?
Whatever spring cleaning you need to do, make it a priority and get it done today.
